It started when I was a high school counselor. I stumbled upon the power of LEGO® in a surprising way: quiet students began to open up when building with bricks, and technically minded students found access to their creative, emotional side. That early discovery stuck with me. Later, as a therapist working with adults, couples, and families, I continued using LEGO® to help people express what words couldn’t. I saw problems get solved faster, emotions surfaced more safely, and individuals felt truly seen. Eventually, I decided to formalize what I had seen work so powerfully—I became certified in LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®. Now I bring this method to teams, schools, and organizations that want more inclusive, engaging, and transformative conversations.
